An ambitious and structured intervention, designed to improve the energy performance of an existing building and ensure its full efficiency in every aspect, without sacrificing living comfort and sustainability. This significant second-level energy renovation and restructuring has affected the entire building envelope and the main heating systems, with an integrated approach capable of enhancing the existing building stock and projecting it towards future standards.
Interventions carried out
Building Envelope Isolation
External Thermal Insulation: installed on all vertical dispersive surfaces, it improves thermal performance and helps reduce energy consumption.
Roof Insulation: targeted intervention to minimize thermal dispersion through the roof.
First Floor Ceiling Insulation towards the underlying garage, to ensure comfort and continuity of performance between the different levels of the building.
Replacement of Fixtures
All the fixtures have been replaced with new high-efficiency elements, capable of offering better performance in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation, without altering the aesthetics of the building.
Renewal of thermal systems
New high-efficiency heat generator to optimize consumption and increase the reliability of the system.
Installation of 2 solar thermal panels for integration in the production of domestic hot water, reducing traditional energy requirements.
Photovoltaic system with storage system: solar energy is captured and stored, ensuring autonomy and savings on electricity consumption.
Achieved results
Reduction of energy consumption and increase of the overall efficiency of the building-
Superior living comfort, with a more stable and consistent indoor temperature in all seasons-
Integration of renewable sources, for cleaner energy and lighter bills-
Enhancement of the building heritage, with a significant improvement in the energy class
This intervention represents a model of advanced energy redevelopment, where every element – from the structure to the systems – has been optimized to ensure sustainability, durability, and housing wellbeing.
