Efficiency and Attention to Detail: Energy Renovation of a 1950s Building
In the heart of an established urban context, the energy redevelopment of a building from the 1950s has represented an important intervention in enhancing the existing building heritage. A project born from the need to improve the energy performance of the property, reduce consumption, and increase living comfort, without compromising the original architectural identity. Thanks to careful design and the use of targeted technical solutions, effective interventions were made on the building envelope, providing the building with new efficiency and a renewed aesthetic.
Interventions carried out
Thermal insulation of vertical surfaces
An external thermal coat with a thickness of 12 cm has been applied, able to significantly reduce thermal dispersions and improve the energy class of the building. A solution that also guarantees greater internal comfort and energy savings in the long term.
Balcony renovation
The protruding elements, often a source of thermal bridges and infiltrations, have been completely upgraded through the renovation of the waterproofing and flooring, improving both the functionality and the aesthetic appearance of the property.Intervention on the external plinth
The base of the building has undergone a targeted intervention for plinth renovation, with the aim of protecting the surfaces most exposed to contact with water and improving the visual continuity of the envelope.
